OLD SWEATERS & SOCKS become CUP SLEEVES and WRIST WARMERS. Works-in-Progress artists worked with grade 6 students on a graduation fundraiser project: for 4 hours over 4 days, we made up-cycled cup sleeves and wrist warmers with the 11 & 12 year olds, some have never sewn before. We took felted wool sweater sleeves, upholstery samples and old socks, used jars as models, and then sold the creations at the school skate night to raise money for graduation class party.
